Their formation story:
(Ivar Braekken, bass): "We started up about half a year ago, when the vocalist Sixten, guitarist Juli as well as I, the bassist decided to start up a hardcore band.

"First, Sixten was supposed to play the drums, but then he decided that he wanted to do vocals instead. So we went and changed that up. We were then in need of a new drummer, which is when we contacted our friend Harry to play drums. Thus, we became the four-piece that we are today."

Their sound in their own words:

"We’re very inspired by fast-paced hardcore from the ’90s and early '00s. We originally took a lot of inspiration from bands such as Carry On, as well as some influences from The Rival Mob, Mindset, and Angers Curse."

Latest release info:
"Our newest release, Promo ’25, was made entirely in our drummer’s studio that also serves as the place where we rehearse and write new songs. It was entirely made with our own gear, and was mixed by our guitarist."

Future plans:
"Our plans for the coming months are probably to keep on helping with maintaining the local scene as it is today. We’re a Stockholm-based band and I myself have grown up with the scene, so I can proudly say that it hasn’t been this good for many years. There’s this really big influx of new kids being introduced to hardcore, and we all want to be a part of this movement and contribute all that we can."

What other bands from their region should we check out?
"I’d strongly recommend the Stockholm bands Existence, Speedway, and HerDagger. Some other good bands are Gothenburg’s Sidestep, but if you don’t know your Swedish hardcore that well I would strongly recommend Malmö’s Hårda Tider and Umeå’s Håll Det Äkta."
