Their formation story:
(Steve, bass): "After circling each other in previous projects on the UK punk and hardcore circuit for over 15 years, the time finally came to get in the room together. I found myself writing the music for what became the first set of Blame songs in early 2025. After showing a few songs and riffs to a few friends, Will (guitar) threw his hat in.
"I reached out to Rory, whom I’d seen a few times play in an old band and always admired for his style and presence behind the kit, to see if he wanted to jam. We played as a 3-piece for quite a while, getting to know one another's styles and shaping the demos ready to get a vocalist in the mix. The story of Dan joining is a real twist and turn.
"To cut a long story short, though, a mutual friend passed on Dan’s details, and we’ve been grinding on the regular since. It’s been so easy and productive since."
Their sound in their own words:
"Groove-laden riffs with an urgent punk energy. The Hope Conspiracy, Suicide File, Modern Life Is War, Deathwish, and Bridge 9, '00s hardcore mixed with a little NYHC. Reflections on social issues, the political landscape globally, and whatever else 40-year-olds get pissed off at in 2026."
Latest release info:
"Demo '26 features two tracks that best represent where the band is currently. We wanted to get something out and in people's ears before our first shows."
Future plans:
"We have more UK dates to announce, along with the recording of our first EP. The feedback from Demo '26 has been very encouraging, and we’re so stoked to get back and work on the other songs. Strike while the iron is hot."
