Hello, this is Wyatt with No Echo, and today we’ve got a special video interview with Daniel Kubinski, frontman of Die Kreuzen—and the driving force behind his current band, The Crosses.
While Die Kreuzen’s legacy looms large—emerging from Illinois before relocating to Milwaukee and influencing bands like Soundgarden and The Melvins—the focus of this conversation is on what Kubinski is doing now. Following Die Kreuzen’s 2013 reunion, which reignited his creative energy, Kubinski has been channeling that spirit into The Crosses, a band that both honors the past and pushes forward with new material.
The Crosses have built a reputation for blending Die Kreuzen favorites with fresh output, and now, with a solidified lineup—featuring guitarist Jim Potter (Dr. Shrinker), bassist Christopher Ortiz (Magnetic Minds / Speed Freaks), and drummer Jesse Sieren (Big Laugh / Revelation Records)—they’re gearing up for their next chapter. The band will release a new EP, Outlier, on April 17 via Triple Eye Industries, Spectragram Records, and Rushmor Records:
