Tear Gas in a new hardcore band featuring some veterans from the New Jersey hardcore scene, including such bands as Second to None, Pray For Death, and Theory of Design.

Comprised of vocalist Pat Beam, bassist Michael Ramirez, drummer Gene Mercer, and guitarists Alex Cordova and Straight Edge Mike, the group has played a handful of gigs since forming. Over the summer, they appeared on bills with bands like Sworn Enemy, Mortician, and Blackest Dawn.

Tear Gas recently released their debut single, "Better Off Dead," a track that includes guest vocals from Stikman, the frontman of Fury of Five. When it comes to New Jersey metallic hardcore, that's a pretty heavy cosign.

Today, No Echo is presenting the music video premiere of "Better Off Dead," which Stikman also appears in. Directed by Raised Fist Propaganda's Jeff Pliskin, the clip can be seen below:

If you're in the Garden State this weekend, Tear Gas will be playing Level Up Skate Park in Brick alongside Deluzion, Frenzy, Fail You, and Gunk:
