Their formation story:
(Lucas, bass): "We all met through going to shows, though we kind of knew each other beforehand. Oliver and I went to college together, and James and I used to skate together around 2022-ish. Eventually, everything naturally came together through the local scene and our shared love for heavy music.
"xNECESSARYDEMISEx features James on guitar, Oliver on drums, Charlie on vocals, and Lucas on bass."
Their sound in their own words:
"H8000 metalcore but with more Converge.
"Our influences are definitely Converge, xRepentancex, No Surrender-era Kickback, and Some Of Us May Never See the World-era On Broken Wings. Can’t leave Earth Crisis out of the list either [laughs]."
Latest release info:
"Collectively, we just brought together everything we were listening to at the time and all the stuff we personally loved to make something we actually wanted to hear ourselves.
"More than anything, we just wanted to have as much fun with it as possible. It was a really sick experience making music with your mates."
Future plans:
"We’ve got a couple of gigs coming up that we’re buzzing to play, and outside of that, we’re already writing whatever comes next."

"Crowquill — some of the nicest guys in the scene, and helping bring back that 2000s metalcore sound.
Killing Me Softly — a standout band in the current 2000s metalcore revival.
Right to Pain — already playing some huge gigs and great people to be around.
