Their formation story:
(Nick Viterelli, drums): "Our vocalist Gregg and I have been friends for the past 15 years, and doing a project that is fast was something that we always wanted to do. We picked out some of the local Tehachapi shredders and Step by Step came together."
Their sound in their own words:
"Fast, pissed off, PMA. Our influences come from mostly early 2000s Boston Hardcore as well as mid-'80s Youth Crew. If you're into bands like Clear, Step Forward, Cut the Shit, Tear It Up, or The Rival Mob, you'll dig Step by Step."
Latest release info:
"The EP we just put out couldn't have happened without the help from Iron Mind Co, The Warriors, and Andy Diehard. We wanted our first release to be something that would show what we're about, but we're only scratching the surface."
Future plans:
"We have a 3-song promo coming out at the end of the summer. Come see us at a show."
