Band: Lethal Method
From: Nashville, Tennessee
Their formation story:
(Josh Landrith, vocals): "Lethal Method was formed in Nashville within the past year. All of us used to play in other bands that used to play together a lot—some of those bands were Waste, Hanging Moon, The Language, Thirty Nights of Violence, and Pinion.
"We’ve all been friends for a while and then just decided we wanted to make some new music together."
Their sound in their own words:
"Some of the bands that influence us are Trapped Under Ice, Dying Fetus, Pantera, E.Town Concrete. I personally was also listening to a lot of R&B and hip-hop while we were writing this EP, so that definitely influenced this EP as well."
Latest release info:
"Our newest release is called DREAMZ. We actually just released it today (at the time of me answering this question), September 22nd, 2023. It’s a 5-song EP.
"We wrote these songs over this past year and tracked the drums with Chris Condon here in Nashville, and then our guitar player Kelly actually tracked all the guitars and vocals, and he also mixed it. Our friend Daniel Colombo mastered it. So, for the most part it was a pretty DIY production."
Future plans:
"The immediate future plans for the band are to write and record more music, play more shows, and do some short tours when we can. We would love to play more at home and in other cities as much as possible and as soon as possible."
What other bands from their region should we check out?
"We’re fortunate to have some amazing bands here in Nashville. Most people know Orthodox and Chamber, both of those bands are from here and they rip. We played our first show with a local hardcore band called Dogpile and if you ever get a chance to see them play live, it’s an awesome experience.
"Outside of that, our guitarist Kelly and myself play in another band called Thirty Nights and our guitarist Ben and our drummer Lucas have another band called Idiot. Our bassist Nic also sings in a cool rock band called Blemish. I’ll just leave it at that so that I’m not making the list too long because we have a lot of great bands here in town."
