Their formation story:
Yussrah (vocals): "Formed in 2024, Hex grew from a shared passion for death metal and hardcore. We had been friends for years, and after playing in various bands, we came together to create something of our own."
Their sound in their own words:
"Downtempo death metal, metallic hardcore, and crushing breakdowns. For fans of bands like Xibalba, No Zodiac, Harm's Way, Ill Natured, and Blistered."
Latest release info:
"Earlier this year, we dropped two tracks from our upcoming EP, No Salvation Until Death Is Permanent. For 'Craven Spine,' we had Aidil from Doldrey jump on the track. He also plays guitar in Face2Face.
"We've got a few more killer guest vocalists from across the SEA hardcore scene that will be featured on the EP, and we can't wait for everyone to hear it. We're super excited for the release!"
Future plans:
"We've been touring and promoting our two latest releases as much as possible this year. Next up, we'll be performing at Rampage Summer Fest in Seoul on June 27, sharing the stage with bands such as Kruelty, Numb, Coffins, No Shelter, and many other incredible Japanese and Korean bands.
"In October, we'll also be heading to the Philippines for a three-day tour. We'll be playing at BCHC Fest in Bacolod, along with two additional shows in General Santos and Cebu City.
"Alongside these shows, we're focused on completing our debut EP, No Salvation Until Death Is Permanent, which we're aiming to finish and release by the end of the year."

"There are honestly too many good bands to name, but some bands from our region that everyone should check out are Web of Lies, Frown, Face2Face, Error, Agenda Filth, and SHLTR."
