Band: Hailbomb

Their formation story:
"We officially started our band about a year ago. It all kicked off when Jeff (our guitar player) hit up David (vocals). JF knew David had sung in some hardcore metal projects before and asked if he was interested in starting something new. David was free, and he was definitely looking to start a new band, so that was the start of everything.
"Seb (bass) joined us a bit later, and he was there in the studio with us to lay down the bass tracks on our first two singles. We had a change on the drums. Our original guy moved on but we’re pumped because Paul, our new drummer, just joined the ranks and he’ll be recording the full EP with us."
Their sound in their own words:
"We describe our music as a straight-up blend of hardcore and metal. Think of Hatebreed and Terror mixed with the some elements of Slayer and Pantera. For us, the ‘90s and '00s metallic hardcore scene are huge influences, as well as the thrash metal and death metal scenes."
Latest release info:
"We just released our first two singles last week, and youcan expect both of them to be on our upcoming EP, which we’re aiming to drop in
early 2026."
Future plans:
"Right now, our focus is getting back to the studio soon to finish the EP, pushing the two singles we have out now, and getting some shows booked!"

"There's a a ton of great bands in the Quebec scene. Definitely go check out Desecrate, Scarfold, Blank, and Northwalk."
