Their formation story:
"Glitter is a band made up of Ainize (vocalist), Guillem (drums), Alex (guitar), and Armine (bass). We know each other from the local scene, from studying together, and Ainize and Guillem run their screen printing project together. The DIY thing has brought us together from the beginning, and we take advantage of it to be able to carry out all the artistic side of the band, which includes logos, t-shirt designs, covers, etc., apart from the music, which makes it much more fun and personal.
"The main and only reason we got together was to create a band where we could have fun playing the music we like the most, and everything else is an extra."
Their sound in their own words:
"Our band has two very strong influences and sometimes it's hard to decide if we want to keep it more metal or punk. Some of our favorite bands are The Flex, GEL, Obituary, Gulch, and Rival Mob, with a touch of Cardi B."
Latest release info:
"On our latest EP, we’ve built on our signature sound, pushing it further with a rawer, more aggressive edge thanks to the improved recording quality and the evolution of Ainize’s vocal tone. Our main goal has always been to create songs that feel powerful live and get people moving.
"We recorded the album last December and have been fine-tuning the tracks ever since. With this release, we feel like we’re not just refining what we started with. We’re also beginning to shape a clearer identity and discover the direction we truly want to take this project.
"It’s been a journey of constant growth and experimentation, and one of the most rewarding parts has been watching these songs evolve from rehearsal room sketches into something real we’re genuinely proud of."
Future plans:
"We’re looking for a promoter or label interested in releasing our new project in a physical format. Other than that, we'll keep playing around Spain and Europe, and already started working on new songs. New ideas are always in motion!"
