Brick By Brick have released the official video for their new single, “Chaos Reigns,” a track that delivers more of the ugly metallic hardcore the New York band is known for.
The track centers on what they describe as a “dream scenario” — the moment when buried impulses rise up and take control. “This song is about that moment where you stop fighting yourself,” guitarist Mike Valente explains. “We all have those flashes where the chaos wins. ‘Chaos Reigns’ is us putting that feeling into sound and vision.” The track appears on Brick By Brick's Collapse EP from last year.
Shot by Robbie Lewis, the "Chaos Reigns" video leans into that psychological tension with dark, atmospheric visuals that blur the line between reality and nightmare. The pacing shifts between suffocating build-ups and explosive bursts, mirroring the song's internal struggle:
For more than two decades, Brick By Brick have been a fixture of the Northeast heavy music scene. In addition to guitarist Valente, the group is rounded out by bassist Andy Parsons, drummer Jeff Facci, and vocalist Ray Mazzola, who spent many years fronting Full Blown Chaos.
