When you name your album Rocker Shocker, you better have the guitar riffs to back it up. That bold title comes courtesy of Texas band Hoaries, who will be releasing the record later this month, and I'm excited to report that they do indeed have the goods to support the statement
The Dallas noise-rockers first appeared on No Echo in 2019 via their split 10" with Detroit's Beige Eagle Boys, and this time out they're delivering a call-and-response ass-beater of a track called "We're Doing This."
The song offers up a perfect taste of what Rocker Shocker will be serving up:
Featuring former members of White Drugs (Amphetamine Reptile Records) and the Paper Chase (Kill Rock Stars), Hoaries is comprised of Jeff Helland (vocals/guitar), Clay Stinnett (drums), Bobby Weaver (bass), and Christian Breit (guitar).
Rocker Shocker will hit stores on October 23rd via Reptilian Records in several limited edition vinyl configurations.
