Their formation story:
(Brian, guitar): "After Sean (bass) and Tegan's (drums) band Consolation wrapped up, they and Nathy (Martha, Onsind, Fortitude Valley, etc.) were conspiring to start Death Is Not Glamorous reincarnate. I met Sean on tour years ago and we bonded over a love of Shook Ones, so he thought I'd be a good fit on guitar and asked me to be involved.
"After cobbling a couple of songs together we tagged in Harry (vocals) and Kev (guitar) and released a whopping 6 minutes of music. We're spread across Bristol, Sheffield and Norwich in the UK so it's a very casual affair, and it's been really fun and fulfilling. Nathy didn't end up playing in the band, but he's our designated vibes technician."

"Fast posi-melodic hardcore with negi lyrics. Shook Ones, Kid Dynamite, Death Is Not Glamorous would all be very big influences.
Latest release info:
"We just put out our first release, a self-titled EP with the first four tracks we wrote and recorded. We recorded drums and bass with James Atkinson at the Stationhouse in Leeds, and I finished it at home. Will Killingsworth at Dead Air studios did the mastering, and it was release on cassette by our mate Kai's new label, Protective Style Records. Orla Scally did the artwork. We're super happy with how it turned out."
Future plans:
"We played our first run of shows in November. We'll head back to the Stationhouse in December to get drums down for the next batch of songs and release them next year. We're on the bill for Manchester Punk Fest in April, and planning a handful of other shows early next year."

"We're all in a bunch of active or semi-active projects across various genres: Gimic, Post Archives, Melter, Stumbelina, and Anna's Anchor. My mates in Sans Froid, Peach, and No Violet are all releasing new music soon that you should definitely check out. Also, Other Half are the best of the best."
