Their formation story:
(Lasse, vocals): "It all started in 2022 when I was frustrated because some projects I started never made it out of the rehearsal space. In December, Dario our guitarist, messaged me because he and two other members of his former band (Choice is Yours) wanted to start a new project with a different sound.
"I was so stoked because we all met in 2019 at a Spark show that I played with my former Band (Brail) in Düsseldorf and got along pretty well. The first rehearsal was in January 2023 and I think it just clicked."
Their sound in their own words:
"Our sound is influenced by bands like Turning Point, Shield and Temperance. A band that people who have visited our shows mention a lot (something that really falters me because it has been my gateway band) is Have Heart. We have a more melodic approach towards our sound in which try to combine heavy chugging mosh parts and singalongs."
Latest release info:
"Our newest release is also our debut EP, You’re Not In This Alone. While writing the songs, they came together like a puzzle. In the beginning, our plan was to write a normal demo, but in the process it felt more and more like a concept that needed more attention and effort. We are very proud of the outcome.
"The sound and the lyrics have a melancholic theme. It’s mostly about the struggles that we as individuals have to face in a world that is cruel and unforgiving. Depression and addiction are a big theme here. But there is alway a silver lining and a positive outlook. We don’t have to face these struggles alone and we are never truely lost, even if we feel that way."
Future plans:
"Right now, we have some cool shows coming up all over Germany. Also, we want to focus on writing new material this winter. Feel free to come by to a show."

"There are so many popping up right now. Of course you should check out the whole DBNO family. In our region, Side2Side Records is a label and booking collective you really should check out! Also, STTW Records, and Collective Memory Records, are both releasing a huge amount of great bands right now!"
