Band: Negative Force

Their formation story:
Tito (guitarist, producer): "Rick, our vocalist, started this band in 2019 with a completely different lineup. The world shut down, life got in the way, people cycled in and out. Rick and I have been boys for a long time, so after the second lineup fell through, I hopped on board around the tail end of 2022.
"Dante, our bassist, and I have been making music since we were kids so naturally we're a package deal. Fredo jumped on second guitar not long after me.
"We put out a demo with this general lineup in September 2023 with our other drummer but things got busy for him with his other band, so we completed our current lineup with A-Dawg."
Their sound in their own words:
"I'd probably describe our sound as very straightforward, hateful hardcore. No frills, no gimmicks, straight up New Jersey Hardcore. Collectively, our influences are Cold World, Think I Care, Suburban Scum, Rude Awakening, No Warning, Down to Nothing, Mongoloids, Pellinore, The Banner, to name a few."
Latest release info:
"We just wanted to write music that was just flat out pissed off. Rick is just spewing hateful shit, the riffs are cranked up and the drums are crushing. The record sounds cohesive but yet the songs stand apart from each other, This is the first release with a solid lineup. The demo we dropped before this was pieced together with songs that several people rewrote, influences were all over the damn place.
"I opened up a studio in October last year and it's where we predominantly chill. I'm in there everyday so I'd generally start the base of a scratch track and then everyone else would add or change things around. We all pretty much agreed on a certain sound early on in the writing process so putting songs together came natural.
"Shoutout to Jayway who also helped out with recording the drums at his spot as well as crushing the mix/master."
Future plans:
"We have some pretty cool shows and weekenders with our friends in the works. Definitely trying to play more shows outside of our area. We're always at my studio writing so you can definitely expect to hear more music from us."
