Their formation story:
(Jaka, bass): "Me and Bagas (guitar) have known each other since 7-8 years ago. Both of us active in different bands, I currently play with Bizarre and Bagas in Wanderlust. Our connection started during our bands was playing in the same stages.
"Sometime in 2022, we had an idea to starting a new band. From this conversation we decided to finalizing our music and what sounds we wanted to create.
"We then recruited Yossy (vocals), Yoga (guitar), and Marshall (drums). All of Last Dayz' members are from Blitar and Tulungagung, two closest cities in East Java. Bagas had a big role in making this demo, 3 songs demo was recorded and released in September."
Their sound in their own words:
(Jaka, bass): "Hardcore with metal influences, and some old-school deathcore bands."
(Bagas, guitar): "Kickback, All Out War, and Japanese '90s metallic bands like Dyingrace and Second to None. We tried new things that we had never done in our band before. Aggressive metallic riffs with heavy double pedals were highlighted. We really wanted to this demo material feels very metal but doesn't eliminate the hardcore elements."
Latest release info:
(Jaka, bass): "We just released a 3-song demo and it's available on Bandcamp. In November, we will have our first show and are planning some mini tours."
Future plans:
(Bagas, guitar): "We are currently projecting to writing some material for our upcoming EP, which is scheduled for release in the middle of next year."
