Band: Concrete Bomb
From: Perth, Australia
Their formation story:
(Max Taylor, drums): "The band started when our previous bands all split up at the same time. Myself and James langlands (guitar) started playing around with some riffs and came up with a few songs. We later recruited Adrian Lantz on vocals, James Nester on guitar, and Sam Wilson on bass to complete the lineup to write and then record the demo and have consistently played shows since.
Their sound in their own words:
"Australian Hardcore with a metallic edge and NYHC influence."
Latest release info:
"Snorting Rubble is an EP that showcases the best of the band imo. Riffs, guitar solos, breakdowns, and lyrics about being an angry lad. It was fun to see how the songs turned out some a lot more ignorant than expected, some a lot more concise. It’s available via B.I.G Records on 7” vinyl and streaming everywhere now!"
Future plans:
"Hopefully go over east and play some shows, being from Perth is a pain to get to the rest of Australia [laughs]. Then writing for the next release, I’d imagine."
What other bands from theirr region should we check out?
"Day of Demise, Miles Away, Engage, Gaoled, No Brainer, The Chain, The Others, No Future, Iron Eater, Lokka, End it All, and Shattered. There’s still a bunch to name but you get the point, Perth Hardcore is very good right now!"
Snorting Rubble is available on 7" vinyl via B.I.G. Records.
