Hellbent: Canadian Trio Pens Hardcore Jam for a Rescue Dog Named “Buckley” (PREMIERE)

The dudes in Hellbent love marijuana and hardcore. OK, maybe not in that order, but yeah.

Based in Hamilton, ON, the Cannucks keep their hardcore punk moving at a brisk rate, still managing to squeeze in hooks throughout the arrangements.

Hellbent recorded their forthcoming Primitive Hits album with producer Scott Middleton (Cancer Bats), and No Echo is offering you a sneak peek at the record via "Buckley." The music video was directed by Justis Krar (Single Mothers) and pays tribute to a furry family member:

“You’d think one song about a dog is enough for Hellbent," says vocalist Phill Paxton. "Well, think again. This track is aggressive and adorable, and was written from the perspective of Buckley, my legendary rescue pup straight from West Virginia.”

Primitive Hits will be out soon via all streaming outlets.
