Fates Messenger have previously been featured around these parts, but if you missed No Echo's previous coverage, let me give you a quick primer. The UK quintet is comprised of musicians who have previously played in such bands as Above All, Romeo Must Die, and Stampin Ground, bringing forth a sound steeped in metal and hardcore-influenced guitar work.
2024 saw the release of Fates Messenger's debut 2-track single, "Scars/Bonechapel," eventually ending the year by dropping a track called "They Walk Among Us." The band is currently gearing up for the release of an EP entitled Eternal War through Greyheaven Records, a new label started by their vocalist, Tony Maddocks.
For the title track and first single from the EP, Fates Messenger teamed up with Vision of Disorder singer Tim Williams who supplies his unmistakable croon to the crushing proceedings:
