Whenever someone asks me what some of my current favorite hardcore bands are, I always include End It in the conversation. With that inn mind, I'm pleased as punch to help announce that the Baltimore quartet will be releasing their debut album, Wrong Side of Heaven, this August.
The record was produced by Brian McTernan, who outside of working in the studio with such musical acts as Thrice and Hot Water Music, is also the vocalist in the bands Be Well and Battery. Tracked at Salad Days Studio, the 15-track is centered around “spreading awareness of the change that’s coming to Americans, personal growth, and maintaining the ethics and integrity of hardcore," according to End It.
Wrong Side of Heaven is the follow-up to 2022's Unpleasant Living EP, and its first single is called "Pale Horse." The Noah Haycock-directed music video for the track is a welcomed change of pace from the usual visuals we see in hardcore:
As the time of writing this article, End It have 3 live dates announced, with one tonight (June 18th) in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the El Rey opening for Suicidal Tendencies. The band will play again with Mike Muir and company this Friday (June 20th) in Tempe, Arizona at The Marquee.
End It will also be part of This Is Hardcore on August 8th in Philadelphia alongside Merauder, Bayway, Shattered Realm, and many other bands.
Wrong Side of Heaven will be out on August 29th via Flatspot Records.
