Their formation story:
(Joni Paz, drums): "Heridas emerged without much thought; the main idea was to record some songs and share them with people. But now we want to play live. The first to join the project was Eze on vocals, followed by Javi on bass, and the last one was Andy as the second guitarist. Heridas was born in the city of Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina."
Their sound in their own words:
"The Heridas sound combines elements of hardcore, metal, metalcore, and some elements drawn from death metal. My influences are always oriented towards the hardcore scene."
Latest release info:
"The EP, El caos en la inercia, was recorded between August and December 2023, but in reality, the songs that comprise it are over 10 years old. They are songs written by Tom (the first guitarist), composed when he was younger, but never saw the light of day due to various reasons.
"One day, I suggested to Tom that we get together to reconstruct these songs in order to record them. That's how we brought our EP to life, and once the instrumental tracks were recorded, we reached out to Eze to record the vocals because we didn't have a singer until then."
Future plans:
"As a band, our plan is to continue composing songs, record our next album, perform more frequently, and tour both within our country and abroad."
