Band: FatFace
From: Piraeus, Greece
Their formation story:
"We've known each other since 2011. We were in a grindcore band named Grassroll and in 2016 we stoped playing because Jo (drummer) had to travel abroad for work .After 8 years of nothing, we decided (3 of the 4 members of Grassroll ) to start the FatFace."
Their sound in their own words:
"Our sound is a mix of hardcore, power violence, and sludge. Our influences are many such as movies, books, DIY, boxing, social problems, and difficulties of the daily life."
Latest release info:
"Our first release is 7-track EP called Heavy Puncher. We recorded between Sep and Oct 2025 at Callmelazy Studios in Athens by Costas Gavakos. We are waiting to receive the physical copies with the help of the Angry Owl label."
Future plans:
"Rehearsals, rehearsals, and more rehearsals. Plus, live shows, more recordings, and probably a tour."
What other bands from their region should we check out?
"Youth Crusher, DeepXcut, Vile Species, PlektaniI, and in general, all of the hardcore/punk Greek DIY scene."
