Band: Descaro
From: Buenos Aires, Argentina
Their sound in their own words:
"Both our sound and our style is raw and aggressive. It resembles the most primitive hardcore of the '81-'84 era, although with a more current sound. Our influences range from Minor Threat, SSD, DYS, Negative Approach, to Rival Mob, No Tolerance and Boston Strangler on the US side, as well as The Flex and Violent Reaction on the UK side.
"Anyway, many generations of hardcore coexist in the band, therefore, we are not closed to a particular sound and we are permeable to current bands and new trends. Nowadays there are a lot of bands with female singers, and being that our case too, we appreciate a lot current bands like Scowl or Tørsö, to name some of the closest to our style."
Latest release info:
"Descaro is the name of our first EP, and it was recorded in October of this year. It’s five songs + an intro. It was recorded as a trio, with [guitarist] Diegui recording both the bass and guitars."
Future plans:
"We will be playing our debut show on December 22nd. By 2023, we will surely release our EP on physical format and we will go out to play everywhere possible and why not, tour if there is the chance to."
What other bands from their region should we check out?
"Distante, Dust, Montegrande, Wrrn, Cursi no muere."
