Their formation story:
Louis Matos (vocals / drums on the recording): "Breed It Out started as a writing and recording project built around the idea of making heavy hardcore feel primitive again. The goal was to create something direct, aggressive, and stripped of anything that felt soft or over-polished. We wanted the band to have its own world before anyone even heard the music—visual symbols, slogans, artwork, and a specific identity instead of just posting, 'New band, check us out.'
"The recordings were built first, then the band's identity and rollout followed. 'Loss of Tradition' is the first public piece of that."
Their sound in their own words:
"Straight-up caveman hardcore with a touch of metalcore. It's heavy hardcore built on groove, blunt rhythms, beatdown parts, metallic aggression, and a primitive, stripped-down feel. The goal is not to be flashy. It's supposed to feel direct, physical, and ugly in the right way."
Latest release info:
"'Loss of Tradition' is our debut single. Lyrically and visually, it deals with collapse, herd mentality, false order, inherited decay, and the urge to break from cycles that keep repeating. The song is meant to feel like a line being drawn—heavy, direct, and final.
"It's the first single from a larger body of work we've been building around the Breed It Out identity."
Future plans:
"Right now the focus is rolling out 'Loss Of Tradition,' releasing more visuals, and building the foundation around the band. We have more music ready, with another single planned after this one, followed by the full EP.
"We're also looking toward the live version of the band. The goal is to get the right drummer in place, rehearse properly, and start playing shows once the foundation is solid."
