One Hundred for Haiti is a humanitarian charity that creates and creates and supports long-term social development and human rights programs related to water safety, roof construction, and sexual assault education in rural Haiti. The non-profit was founded by Greg Bennick, a longtime member of the hardcore community who many of you will know from his vocal work in the bands Trial and Between Earth & Sky.
A decade ago, Haiti was hit with a catastrophic earthquake that decimated the country, so One Hundred for Haiti will be releasing a split charity LP featuring Buffalo outfit, Old Ghosts, and Bystander, a hardcore group featuring none other than Mr. Bennick on lead vocals.
No Echo is honored to bring you the premiere a track from the Old Ghosts side of the record entitled "Prey" for you today:
Keeping with the collaborative nature of the project, State of Mind Recordings and Goodwill Records will be co-releasing and distributing the limited edition album with 100 hand numbered copies in both the US and Europe. All profits from the album go to helping the people of Haiti.
Pick up a digital copy of the Bystander/Old Ghosts split via Bandcamp.
