As previously reported on No Echo, Merauder will be releasing The Minus Years, a double-LP comprised of 3 recordings sessions that have never have officially been released on vinyl.
Featuring lead vocals by Marco "Minus" Rodriguez, the collection will include the Brooklyn, NY band's 1991 Demo, 1993 Demo, and 1994 Promo.
Formed in 1990, Merauder has influenced a legion of metallic hardcore groups throughout the decades, and their early material has been part of the trading scene for years. The band continues today with vocalist Jorge Rosado, who has sung on all of Merauder's albums and EP releases.
To celebrate the forthcoming release of The Minus Years, No Echo is giving you an early taste via a premiere of the 3 tracks from the 1994 Promo session. The slowed-down tempos on "Life is Pain" (later to appear on the band's Master Killer album) is pure savagery, as you'll hear below:
