Their formation story:
“We’ve known each other for a very long time, and we all played in bands before WRVNG (Heaver, Sundays, DRS). We’d been talking about starting a band together for years—something pissed-off, with a very clear message and strong opinions. Eventually, everything just came together, and we decided to go for it.”
Their sound in their own words:
“Difficult to say, as we have several different influences, but to be a bit more specific: there’s one song on the EP that starts with a riff where Krulle (our guitar player) took ‘Violence’ from Ceremony as an inspiration source, and another song where he took inspiration from '2 Morro Morro Land' by Lightning Bolt. It’s up to the listeners to figure out which songs we’re talking about."
"The rest of the songs start from riffs that sound hardcore punk enough in Krulle’s opinion, and from there, Massen (drummer) and Krulle started jamming and building the songs around them.
"If we have to compare ourselves—which is always delicate—we’d say: some Coke Bust mixed with Verse and a little Modern Life Is War. Also, fans of COA, Ruiner, and old Raised Fist might like what we do.”
Latest release info:
“Our first EP, Slow Motion Ruins, contains five pissed-off political songs. We strongly believe that if you’re going to play hardcore, you need to have a clear message and stand for what you say or sing about.
"The EP was completely DIY, recorded by our drummer. Everything felt very natural, and all the songs were created and recorded fluently. Right now, we’re still looking for a label to help release it, but if that doesn’t happen, we’ll go the good old DIY way. We’re eager to get it out and start playing shows.”
Future plans:
“Find a label, release the EP, play shows, piss people off with our music, make them talk about the content, and just have fun doing what we do.”
