Their formation story:
(Sei, bass): "I moved from Japan to Melbourne and was inspired to start a hardcore band after discovering hardcore through the Melbourne scene. Apart from our guitarist, Chang, whom I had known before the project, I connected with the rest of the members through social media."
Their sound in their own words:
(Entire band): "Modern hardcore with a hint of slam elements. We're influenced by Outta Pocket, Sunami, Pantera, and Comeback Kid."
Latest release info:
(Entire band): "We felt a wave of support from the community that we wanted to ride, along with more opportunities to play our songs live. The demo consists of four songs that were written right at the start of the band forming to get our name out there and give people something they could associate with the name Rile. Short and sweet!"
Future plans:
(Entire band): "We're going to keep grinding and playing more live shows to get established in our scene. Over the next month or two, we'll continue writing new songs and try to elevate our unique blend of styles and influences."
