Their formation story:
(Barker, vocalist): "We were all previously in a band called No Good Deed that was around since 2013. I was the only original member remaining and after numerous member changes and shaping our sound in a more refined direction to what it has become now, we decided that a fresh start and new name better suited our current direction as a band."
Their sound in their own words:
"All of our songs are raw, aggressive, real, and gritty with a lot of groove to them. We all have a bunch of influences but I would say the ones that stick out for me in particular would be Swear to God, Built Upon Frustration, Dying Breed, Cold as Life, and Hatebreed, etc."
Latest release info:
"A Breed Apart is Power of Fear’s debut release. We’re releasing a few songs every couple of weeks leading up to its release on June 30th. Every song is in your face, aggressive, and relentless beginning to end. All of the songs are about things I’ve gone through, people, and shit I just don’t fuck with having in my life."
Future plans:
"We’re just trying to play as many shows in as many places as possible. We want to play this record live for every person we can and get our name into everyone’s head."
