Their formation story:
(Yudha, vocals): "The band consists of me on vocals, Juan on bass, Putra and Eki on guitar, and Aldi on drums. Firestorm began in 2023, when Juan first asked me to form a Youth Crew band with him, inspired by groups such as Wide Awake, Get the Most, and Last Straw. But during the writing process, our direction started to change. At that time, Juan was really into bands like Magnitude, Ecostrike, and One King Down, so he suggested we move more in that direction.
"Once we decided on our sound, Juan brought in Eki and Putra to join the band, and Aldi was the final member to complete the lineup. We chose the name Firestorm, inspired by the Earth Crisis song. It has a strong and positive meaning. Even though we’re not a straight edge band, we still want to spread positive messages in our own way."

"We’re influenced by ’90s and early 2000s bands like early Earth Crisis, Unbroken, Strife, and One King Down, as well as newer bands like Magnitude, Statement of Pride, and Broken Vow."
Latest release info:
"On our latest release, Echoes of Insanity, we’re still playing the same style but trying to mature our sound. This time, the lyrics focus more on current political events in our country, from our own perspective."
Future plans:
"Our upcoming plans are to release cassette versions and merch for the new EP. We’re also playing a showcase with Insane, both presented by Escape Records. Stay tuned!"
