Turning heads via their split releases with FAIM, Time and Pressure, and LIFT, Oakland's Discourage is a band that has been getting better with each release.
Their most recent work, a 4-track ripper called Forlorn Hope, finds Discourage delivering pissed-off hardcore that some have sonically compared to the likes of Carry On and Look Back and Laugh.
In a generous gesture, Discourage just dropped a pre-order for a t-shirt featuring the No Echo logo. Designed by James Carroll (Time and Pressure), the band will donating proceeds from sales of the shirt to No Echo to go towards our site's operating costs.
The shirt is available for pre-sale at Chosen Path for the low price of $8 (XXX Large and XXXX Large are $10) for the next 7 days.
