Give Way: Tulsa Hardcore Band Decides to “Fade the Blue Line” on New Track (PREMIERE)

They might call Tulsa, OK home, but Give Way have more in common with NYHC in their sonic DNA than anything else. Formed in early 2018, the 5-piece also claim such influences as Soul Search and Trapped Under Ice, and the group is comprised of members and close friends of Rose Gold and Ruse. In their correspondence with No Echo, they told us that the band is "undeniably and unapologetically against racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism and all other forms of prejudice."

Take a listen to a track called "Fade the Blue Line" below to get a taste of what Give Way is bringing to the world:

"This track is just us, considering where we come from, a straight-up telling about how we feel about police," said Give Way via email. "We don't trust them, they don't trust us, and they aren't here to protect us. There's no frills, no pretty metaphors. Just us."

Coalition will be released on all streaming and download services on Oct.17. Follow Give Way on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
