Their formation story:
(Tyler Carlyle, vocals): "We are just a group of guys in a small town that shared a similar vision of creating traditional hardcore. I knew two of the guys (Nick, guitar, and Max, bass) from going to shows and playing. We found our drummer, Rob, online, who was new to the area and actively looking to join a hardcore band."
Their sound in their own words:
"I think the best way to describe our sound is traditional/old-school hardcore with modern-sounding elements. Embracing the non-heavy side of hardcore while still incorporating breakdowns. The majority of our songs have a political theme opposing fascism and oppression. We believe speaking out on any form of injustice is an important aspect of hardcore/punk/alternative music. We're for fans of Downpresser, Foundation, and Buried Alive."
Latest release info:
"Our self-titled EP just came out. It’s a combination of some demos we had and some songs we wrote on the spot together. Being that it’s a debut release, we really just wanted to make a short, straight-to-the-point EP that combined the things we like in hardcore. It’s 5 songs at 8 minutes, so I think we accomplished that."
Future plans:
"As of now, our plans are to just play some shows, meet new people, and help build our local scene in Greenville, North Carolina."
