Their formation story:
(Nicolas Lambert, vocals): "[Guitarist] John and I we're looking to do something different and out of the box. Once we figured a version of the sound we wanted to create we started looking for people to join the project. The two people we were aiming for accepted the offer.
"Giuliano of Cross Check plays bass and Josh whose past bands include Gazm and Category 514 is on drums duty. The mix of individual worked great right of the bath. We have been working on this for more than a year now."
Their sound in their own words:
"Personally, the idea for me was to not limit myself vocally and creatively. The boys all brought their own influences and it came together organically. The four of us are influenced by a lot of different things. Here are a few important ones, bands such as Integrity, Converge, Gulch, and '90s Death Metal."
Latest release info:
"On October 15th, we released a 9-track demo titled We All Lose. Instruments were recorded live in a concrete warehouse. To capture even more rawness, we even had a room mic in a corner where there was the most reverb.
"The demo was Engineered and Mixed by our good friend Grayson Carpenter from Bruiserweight, vocals and synths by Guillaume Lambert and Mastered by Will Killingsworth at Dead Air Studios. We are lucky to have amazing guest vocalists on the record, friends from the Montreal and Qc scene. Hannah from Cross Check, Tony from Excess, and Goulet/Phil from Apes.
"Lyrically, I used the name as a creative tool, a tool that could bring cohesion. It is a very personal record. I had the luxury of having full creative freedom. The goal of this band was to do something raw, something like everything we truly love."
Future plans:
"We are going to play these songs live wherever they want to be heard. Were continuing the creative process, it's on.
"Also, I will be on merch duty for our friends in Despised Icon on their upcoming tour with Sanguisugabogg around the US. If you loved the Demo please come say what's up!"

"The Montreal Hardcore scene has a ton of great bands, I urge everyone to check out what is going on with our scene. I am a fan of the people I do music with so here are their other projetcs!
"John plays in Bruiserweight, who have been playing Canada and the US for a couple of years now. They have a new EP out on Undeaten records! Giuliano is playing drums for Cross Check. They are about to play a string of show in the maritime in November and have an EP that dropped this year as well.
"And lastly, Josh has a newer project called World Champion; they went in the studio this year and should have something great to show for soon enough too."
