In the three or so years since they formed their band, Rust have kept a steady release and gig schedule. Before 2022 even began, the Ontario, Canada metallic hardcore troupe have dropped two EPs, a four-way split with Please, Depleted, and Ghaul, a two-song promo.

This past summer, Rust issued an EP called World Upside Down, which features guest vocal performances from Mike Parsram (Cold Shoulder, Street Justice), Cian Byrne, and Camden Good (D Bloc).

Speaking of Camden, the track he's featured on is called "Sink So Low" and Rust have just shot a music video for it. Directed by David Praph, the clip can be seen below:

Rust vocalist Tommy Wood shared the following about "Sink So Low" with No Echo"

"The song captures the perspective of someone observing the consequences of poor leadership and how it trickles down and affects their entire community. Whether it be politicians, superiors in the workplace or teachers at school. This song voices the frustration of those trying to make sense of the selfish decisions by those in power."

World Upside Down is available now across all streaming outlets via Wormwood Records. The vinyl version of the EP is up for pre-order now at this link.
