Regular readers of No Echo should already be familiar, as we've covered them on the site a few times in the last couple of years. For those who haven't already checked them out, the Buffalo outfit features former members of such bands as Despair, Slugfest, and Buried Alive.

Earlier this month, Pure Heel dropped a very limited lathe vinyl square cut 7 inch with two tracks. The group has partnered with director Erik Boccio to make a music video—COVID-19 restrictions and all—for "Solitary," a song from the new release:

"We wrote this song a while ago," says Pure Heel guitarist Jay Galvin, "and while it wasn’t written with a global pandemic in mind, it has certainly taken on new meaning in these crazy times. The end of the song says it all: 'solitary and I’m losing my mind.'"

The 2-track limited edition lathe cut Pure Heel 7 inch is available now via Irish Voodoo Records. It's also available on Bandcamp.
