Band: Pistol Whip
From: Little Rock, Arkansas
Their sound in their own words:
"We are a metallic hardcore band pulling influences from bands such as Neglect, Next Step Up, Fury of V, Merauder, Stigmata, and '90s NYHC and Troycore in general."
Latest release info:
"Our drummer, Jarrod, recorded, engineered, mixed, and mastered the entire demo at his studio, Prana Studios. Alex, our vocalist, wrote the lyrics from personal experiences and just as a positive outlet to get things off his chest."
What other bands from their region should we check out?
"Our local scene in Little Rock is doing well lately. A lot of younger kids getting into hardcore, and heavy music in general, are coming out to shows and showing support.
"You should check out Kill Order from Little Rock and Side Eye from Springfield, Missouri which is just a few hours north and has a thriving scene. Also check out Righteous War Records out of Springfield."
