With a sound that finds the band hurling one mouth-watering thrash riff after the other at you, Lowest Creature make music that is both circle pit-worthy and catchy in equal measures. The Örebro, Sweden crossover squad formed back in 2013 and the last time I covered them on No Echo was last year when I raved about a song from their Misery Unfolds EP.
This time out, I'm writing about "Reapers Fool," a mid-tempo stomp of a track lifted from their forthcoming Sacrilegious Pain album. Recently highlighted by No Echo contributor Adam Yoe in a feature, the LP was recorded at Ljudkross Studio in the hardcore sacred ground of Umeå. Sacrilegious Pain will be out May 10 via Isolation Records. There is an exclusive pressing limited to 200 copies (Evil Greed and Deathwish Inc only), with a distribution/tour pressing limited to 300 copies worldwide and a CD digipak.
