Formed in 2013, Society Sucker is a band based in North Carolina who cite such influences as Crown of Thornz and Stigmata as key influences. "Forsaken" comes off the group's Summer sampler, and it's a healthy serving of groove-driven metallic hardcore that is the same spirit as their aforementioned inspirations. There's also some Crowbar-like riffing threaded throughout the track, which you won't hear me complaining about!
I'm not sure what Society Sucker's LP plans are, but "Forsaken" has definitely made me a lot more curious.
