Loyal to the Grave have been representing Japanese hardcore to the world since forming in 1998. Now, after a 7-year recording hibernation, the band is returning with a big supporter in their corner: Triple B Records.

The label behind Never Ending Game, Mindforce, and Wild Side has partnered with Retribute Records (they'll handle the Japanese territory) to release Rectitude, a 5-song EP from Loyal to the Grave.

Today, the band dropped a single called “Striving Higher,” a powerful blast of metallic hardcore that sets the tone for the rest of the forthcoming EP:

Rectitude was recorded by Devu at DevuRecordingStudio and Gaku Taura, mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit, and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege. This marks the Tokyo-based band’s fourteenth release and some of their hardest hitting music yet.

Rectitude will be out on May 17th via Triple B Records (worldwide) and Retribute Records (Japan).

Upcoming Loyal to the Grave shows:
4/20 Shibuya @ Harlem w/ Zulu, Sand, Numb, and more
5/18 Shinjuku @ Nine Spices w/ Mourning, Temple Guard, and more
6/1 Kasawaki @ Club Citta @ Bloodaxe Fest
