2020 has been nothing short of a shitstorm and a half, but at least no giant monsters have risen from the Pacific to lay waste to coastal cities...at least not yet. Perhaps the release of the new video from NYC’s Kaiju Daisenso is a portent of things to come.

For the uninitiated, Kaiju Daisenso is a punk-ed up power violence band that worships at the altar of Japanese monster movies featuring current and former members of Unearthly Trance, Gospel, Gorilla Wizard and Helen of Troy.

The track “Green Gargantua” is from their previous album, Reptilian Majesty, which is surely summoning the great beasts from the aquatic depths to come put humanity out of our collective misery for good. The music video for the song can be viewed below in all its drive-in movie glory:

Reptilian Majesty is available now via Small Hand Factory Productions.
