It's been a couple of years since DRAIN released their Revelation Records-issued debut album, California Cursed. Since then, the California outfit toured throughout the world, spreading their crossover thrash-blessed hardcore like gospel.
Since forming in 2014, DRAIN have become one of the more popular bands to come out of the hardcore community. Vocalist Sammy Ciaramitaro's positivity and energy on stage is infectious, and a big reason why the group's live sets always pop, no matter who else is on the bill.
Now signed to Epitaph Records (Bad Religion, Soul Glo), DRAIN will be riding the wave into record stores again via their sophomore album, Living Proof, dropping in May.
Yes, that's a long time to wait for the DRAIN mosh, but have no fear, the band is offering a taste of the album through a music video for lead single, "Evil Finds Light." The finds the group performing on a fictional public access TV show with some familiar faces in the mix:
Produced and engineered by Taylor Young (Nails, Twitching Tongues), with a mix by John Markson (Drug Church, Koyo), Living Proof will arrive on May 5th.
