Band: Street Water
From: Utica, New York

Their formation stort:
(Matt Cano, drums): "We made hardcore music and played shows throughout high school since we were 13. We are all living relatively close again to each other and had went to the Triple B Records/DAZE/Streets of Hate showscase they put on at the monarch this past October and that just ignited a flame for us to get off our asses and stop being lazy and start making music again with each other."

Their sound in their own words:
"Heavy, energetic, and groovy riffs with catchy but meaningful lyrics that hopefully makes you wanna move the whole time."

Latest release info:
"The Street Water demo was just something for us to 100% do ourselves to get back into the swing of things. No outside influences or opinions. It was totally DIY. We didn’t even spend that much time even writing the songs we just got together, had fun and what came out is what we recorded. We wrote what we’d wanna hear as consumers."

Future plans:
"We would definitely love to just get Street Water out there and let everyone know that we’re putting out music again and want to get on shows. We’re already writing new songs with the idea of getting into a studio sometime soon to record an EP, maybe LP."

What other bands from their region should we check out?
"Pure Bliss, Heart of Man, Wrong Move."
